Data-backed replenishment

RAID brings together current stock, sales velocity, inventory turnover, replenishment cycles, supplier lead times and consumption across different Bundles. It lists the products that need restocking, groups them by supplier and suggests quantities. AI replenishment presets learn your replenishment habits from the past 6 months and recommend a replenishment baseline and multiplier. After your team checks and confirms, RAID generates Excel purchase order files; the merchant gives the final confirmation on order quantities.

05 Replenishment and supplier workflow

Challenge

Replenishment runs on manually compiled Excel sheets, while one product can have different Bundles, store stock and suppliers.

Replenishment and channel strategy often rely on manual compilation and individual experience, which is hard to replicate or replace. A replenishment suggestion that is only a single total cannot reflect differences in Bundle consumption, store stock and suppliers. A useful suggestion is broken down by sales velocity, stock, turnover, replenishment cycle and supplier, so it can produce a purchase order you can check.

Approach

The system lists the products that need restocking, groups them by supplier and then suggests quantities.

The calculation uses recent sales velocity (7 / 14 / 30-day averages), current stock, delivery lead time and safety stock. Lead time in days and safety stock can be set separately for each product. Suggestions adjust over time to your replenishment history and become more accurate the more you use them.

RAID AI · AI replenishment presets

AI recommends a baseline and multiplier from your last 6 months of replenishment habits.

AI analyses the merchant's replenishment records from the last 6 months, recommends a replenishment baseline and multiplier, and shows a confidence score. New stores without enough history start on industry defaults; as you restock more often, the system learns automatically.

  • Learns from your replenishment habits over the past 6 months
  • Recommends a replenishment baseline and multiplier, with a confidence score
  • New stores without enough history start on industry defaults
  • Learns automatically as you restock more often
Limits

Needs at least 6 orders placed in the last 6 months. AI suggestions can be edited before you place an order, and the merchant confirms order quantities.

Results and limits

What RAID does

  • Lists the products that need restocking and groups them by supplier
  • Suggests quantities based on sales velocity, stock and replenishment cycle
  • AI recommends a replenishment baseline and multiplier, with a confidence score
  • Generates Excel purchase orders you can check
  • Adjusts suggestions over time to your replenishment history

What RAID doesn't do

  • Does not place orders with suppliers fully automatically
  • Does not decide final order quantities for the merchant
  • Does not make automatic suggestions for new products with no sales history; you can set expected average daily sales manually
  • Suggestions depend on merchant and third-party data being complete, timely and accurate
